Information for guest speakers
CamCreatives CIC is a creative community aimed at those interested in sharing ideas. It’s a mix of designers, photographers, marketers, writers, scientists, makers of things, musicians, UX designers, teachers and more – it’s a wide creative community.
The community is over 15 years old with 4,000 members on our database and our event attracts around 30-60 people a month, depending on the subject/speaker.
We currently meet at the Blue Moon pub in Norfolk Street, Cambridge.
The guest speaker can either present slides or be interviewed on the small stage, whatever works for you.

Timings
The event meets every third Tuesday of the month. It starts at 7:30pm with about 45 minutes relaxed networking and the guest speaker starting at around 8:15pm. We usually finish around 9:30pm.
Format
The guest speaker session works well at 30 minutes, or less, with Q&A afterwards.
If we’ve agreed an interview format, then one of our team ideally would like to meet up for coffee in advance to get a better idea of the person and background before the actual event.
Equipment
We provide the equipment; you just need to send any slides ideally a week in advance so we can add it into our intro presentation.
Promotion
We promote the event across all our social channels as well as reminders from Meetup.com (meetup.com/camcreatives) to registered attendees once a week.
Feel free to bring any physical materials to hand out.
